Intellectual property

All content on this site — articles, research and reports (including Future Signals), frameworks, methodology, text, graphics and software — is the intellectual property of Design Thinking Japan LLC, protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Using the site does not transfer any ownership rights to you.

Your use of the content

You may read the site and use its content for your own learning and internal business reference.

Citation

You may quote brief excerpts in presentations, internal documents or academic work, provided you credit "Design Thinking Japan (designthinkingjapan.com)". Anything beyond brief excerpts requires our prior written permission.

What you may not do

  • Sell, republish or redistribute the site's content, in whole or in substantial part.
  • Scrape, bulk-download or systematically extract content, manually or with automated tools.
  • Use the contact assistants for anything other than contacting DTJ — including automated or bulk messages, or attempts to make them behave in unintended ways.
  • Remove or obscure copyright or attribution notices.

Contact assistants (text and voice)

  • To contact us, you can use the text assistant or, optionally, the voice assistant. Both use AI to help you describe your inquiry. Voice is never required; the text mode offers the same.
  • Responses from the assistants are generated automatically and are provided to help route your inquiry. They are not professional advice or a commitment from DTJ.
  • Please do not submit confidential information you are not authorized to share. How we handle what you send is described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DTJ is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, or for decisions made based on its content or the assistants' responses.
